4. MYTH: Not fully. Relaxation is certainly a common effect of meditation. However, if we relax too much we would fall asleep! Instead, in meditation we try to balance "relaxation" with "concentration" (for example, by focusing on the meditation technique we're using) so we can enter the meditative state - which is a state that lies between being awake and being asleep.
5. MYTH: The more practiced you become, the quicker you can drop into the meditative state and reap the multitude of benefits that come with meditation. Just like any other practice or training, it may take some time to get used to meditation. There's no shortcut to the good stuff in life :-)
6. IT DEPENDS: To some people, the practice comes naturally. To others, it can be a bit of a challenge. However, if you feel meditation is "too easy", you may not be doing it fully "right". Just like any other practice or training, a bit of challenge is needed to advance.
7. MYTH: If you have a lot on your mind, meditation would actually be perfect for you! Meditation helps you calm your mind and become more aware, relaxed, and feel better overall! Don't be discouraged if it takes some time - we promise you, the results will be worth it!

Ohhh
I actually believed the last myth! I always thought that you have to have a clear mind to meditate, not that meditation helps clear your mind ๐คฆ๐ปโโ๏ธ
