1. MYTH: Meditation is very much for both body & mind. This is because the body and mind are tightly interconnected. Something cannot influence the body without influencing the mind, and vice versa. Meditation can help to release tension and stress from both the body and mind. And did you know that meditation can give your body 2-5x deeper rest than the deepest part of your sleep?
2. MYTH: The ultimate goal of meditation is to slow down the mind & increase awareness of your thoughts. Clearing & emptying the mind is a welcomed side-effect of the practice, however.
3. MYTH: Not at all! Meditation is a practice that can suit different types of lifestyles. All in all, meditation simply helps you to become more aware of your thoughts, feelings, & actions, which in effect helps you to live life more freely & joyfully!
